The Athenry Cancer Care Centre provides a voluntary support service for people on a cancer journey. The Centre offers a holistic approach, recognising that a person who is on a cancer journey is not just a body to be treated, but is body, mind, soul and spirit, all in one, in need of nurture.

Aims

We offer support and healing to people with any form of cancer. We support those caring for people with cancer diagnosis

We help people achieve peace of mind through relaxation We help people strengthen the body through stress reduction

Listening

Trained volunteers welcome all callers to a quiet haven We facilitate people to shed fears and feelings
